Description:
A foreshore plantation close to the DS-1 sluice at Noler Char, undertaken by Bangladesh Water Development Board as protection from climate change. This was also under supervision of CDSP IV, which is the fourth phase in a series of projects that have been developing newly accreted land (chars) in the coastal areas of Bangladesh since 2011. It is co-financed by the Government of Bangladesh, the Government of the Netherlands and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
