Harvest day in a millet field belonging to the young agricultural producers of the Sports and Cultural Association, Jamm Bugum from Niakhar, a small town in the Fatick region of Senegal. Thanks to funding from the project to support agricultural sectors in Senegal, PAFA, from 2012 to the present, these young people have grown from 200 hectares to 524 hectares of land under cultivation. They also have a functional warehouse where they continue to store agricultural inputs and certified seeds. Today, "Jamm Bugum" is considered as the first seed producer in the region. They also have a new generation bakery that produces bread made from local cereals such as millet.
