Started in 2006, 6,000 hectares of low fertility grasslands and uncultivated jungle have been converted into oil palm plantations. With a target of 3,500 farmers as active members and cultivators of palm oil, to date (June, 2010) 1,500 small farmers are successfully cultivating palm oil and the planting continues. |
