Candide Manirambona is a widow in Rubuga hill, Gitaramaka village, Karusi Province. She has two cows, one she received from the project. They produce 8 litres of milk a day. The project has helped her to harvest water with a water tank so that she can water her cattle. She also has learned to make compost using manure and weed grass. Candide has made a kitchen garden to grow cabbage and spinach to enrich her family's diet. |
