Supported by IFAD, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, PAMER (Projet d'Appui aux Micro Entreprises Rurales) provides farmers with training and support to develop micro-enterprises in rural areas of Burkina Faso. Vegetable slices laid out on nets used to place produce in dryers that utilize the sun's heat to quickly and cleanly dry materials placed inside them. The climate prevents farmers from growing vegetables all year round. Drying the vegetables not only preserves them but keeps them available throughout the year. |
