Members of the community in Dorbolaang village, Lembeh Island, North Sulawesi. There are 1200 people living in the village and 80% are fishermen and their families. The project works with fishermen to help purchase boats and outboard motors. The overall goal of the project is reduction in poverty and enhanced economic growth for poor but active coastal and small island communities. The development objective is increased household incomes for families involved in fisheries and marine activities in the target communities. |
