Matoe village_ Lulanga Messè harvests pigeon peas in her garden, My name is Lulanga Messè , I’m married and I have 3 children. I’m a farmer, I grow maize and pigeon peas. I’ve started growing pigeons peas last year and this year I should be able to fill 5 bags with the harvest. I will keep 2 for my family and 3 of them I will sell at the local market so I will have the money to pay school for my children and buy what I need. In the future I want to extend my pigeon peas production in order to get enough money to build a house with iron sheet roof. |
