Aun walk trough the irrigation system pipe lines oof a vegetables cultivated field. Aun Ouni 49 hers old, he use to be a breeder but due health problem of his livestock he decided to become a farmer. Aun in 2016 participate to the formation course and in the same year he received IFAD funds to start his project and start to cultivating peaches, watermelon, carrots and figs on his 6 hectares big field. Aun mentioned that side he participate to the formation course his skills as a farmer but also as a businessman improved, since he complete the course he has been thinking to enlarge the cultivation and employ locals in older to enforce the manpower. 'I would like to make a big production of figs and export it around Tunisia' Aun says that he will try also to approach the pharmaceutic industry as figs are used to produce some medications.
