Toussou Odile 38year with 3 children and a husband is a Maize and cement trader in Adjagbo.Seven years ago Toussou started trading with a tonne of Maize. Two years later she secured a 300, 000 CFA loan from ASF and was able to increase her maize trading stock to about 5tonne and last she got another ASF 1, 000 000 CFA loan in order to diversify into cement trading. She added to cement to her trade when maize selling was getting difficult as buyers often delay or default with payment, a situation that is not possible in cement because it is done as "pay before supply".The business has helped her in acquiring land to built her house and able to cater for my children education. |
