Dekadjevi Grisonnants Marion 50years is a farmer with 2wives 6 Children.He began agriculture with the cultivation of plantain and oil palm and a year ago he decided to go into fisheries when he realized others farmers in his community are making more profits from fish farming. After getting the required skills to run a fish farm Dekadjevi put together his personal savings and a 2million CFA loan from ASF to acquire the necessary equipment for fish farming and set up about six fish pounds of 200 square meters each containing 200, 000 fishes. He hopes to be making an annual sale of Six million CFA from this new venture.ASF also give them training on ways on making the farming business profitable and emphasis on the prudent use of the loans mainly purposes they were granted. He believes the expected profit from the fishery will bring better income to sustain his family and can serve as a form of retirement money when he gets older.He prays ASF will continue to support them because it is one of the easiest banks to secure loans for farmers like him. He advises many people to take advantage of this and go to ASF to get a loan to support their project. |
