| Description: | This latrine is among the 26,909 constructed by the Department of Public Health Engineering in the chars for water supply and sanitation through LCS program. This was also under supervision of CDSP IV, which is the fourth phase in a series of projects that have been developing newly accreted land (chars) in the coastal areas of Bangladesh since 2011. It is co-financed by the Government of Bangladesh, the Government of the Netherlands and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). Each family received 6 rings and 2 slabs for access to every latrine. |
