Hoang Thi Lanh (center, pink shirt), 38 yr, mother of 5 children is also a tumeric and pepper farmer who joined the community mushroom farming group, also work together with her fellow member-villagers while her daughter plays around the site, Phuc Khe village, Thon 3 commune, Bo Tranh district, central Vietnam, November 8, 2017. The group which comprises of 13 villagers both men and women, started in September 2016 when they received the support from the SRDP project including the set-up, required kits for mushroom growing and also the training for technics of the farming. The villagers from the group are mostly farmers farming tumeric, pepper, cattle food on a normal basis but they also come to work together at their mushroom growing facility depending on the stage of the process. This helps them to increase their income by about 3 million Vietnamese Dong (about 110 eur) per month per person. ©IFAD/Minzayar Oo/Panos
