| Description: | Trung Thi Huong, 46 yr, mother of 4 children just received a total sum of 16 million Vietnamese Dong (about 600 eur) cash loan, at a SRDP project supported cash loan program at the people's community hall in Xuan Tranch commune, Bo Tranh district, central Vietnam, November 8, 2017. She plans to use the money to buy some calves for which she already saved about 4 million Dong. With the 16 million loan she now have all the 20 million required to buy them. She hopes to make money in the long-run by multiplying and selling the cows and plans to use the money to buy more cows while also paying the debt and the interest. Two of her children are studying, she says, "I need more income and opportunity like this as I need to invest for the education of my children for their future. I want my daughter to become a doctor." |
