Suad Adam Mohammed, Lachan village, 38, in her shops. She cultivates 10 feddans (2,5 hectares) with sesame and sorghum using new tecniques learned from the training she received by SUSTAIN project. “The first year when I harvested with the increased income I bought a small shop, and dishes and glasses for the house” She took a loan from ABSUMI rural finance group for 2 sheeps and training in animal fatting tecnique. Given the success of this activity she could buy other animals and currently she owns 9 sheeps. In the future she want expand her shop, buy a refrigerator, have more animals and send her 5 children to school.
