Description:
In and around Amghrass village farmers can boast 1200 hectares of preserved land. Stone walls have been erected to protect from land erosion and to reinforce terracing. Olive, almond and walnut trees have been planted to conserve the land and provide a boost in agricultural productivity. Irrigation to maintain the trees has also been improved upon including setting up water reservoirs and irrigation canals.
