Olga Osjo Palomino, 28, received training from IFAD through the initiative Management of Natural Resources in the Southern Highlands (MARENASS), Peru. The training included resource management practices to improve their crops. The training has enabled her to build terraces, cultivate corn and potatoes in rows, sell her surplus products in the local market, and share her expertise with a local group called Corazón de Jesús. By promoting better natural resource management, the project works with rural communities to optimize land usage and increase the amount of arable land in the southern highlands. |
