Olga Osjo Palomino (28) has received training from IFAD in how to build terraces and how to cultivate corn and potatoes in rows, Peru. She now manages to sell surplus products in the local market and share her expertise with a group called Corazón de Jesús. The aim of the project includes developing increased food security which can be utilised as production surpluses and/or sold to local markets. The initiative endeavours to provide small-scale farmers with access to small to medium nearby towns in order to maximize ther profits from their agricultural production.
