'We had an Ethiopian agronomist of the local government visiting us on behalf of Initiative Living Community Action (ILCA), an Ethiopian NGO. He convinced us to plant trees. We had already some knowledge about tree planting before the project started. We had already planted some Anka trees. But I didn't have the time and knowledge how to plant the trees, and where. We learned that through the project. Now I can see the land benifits from the improved fertility after we had planted the trees.'
