She does not recieve market information prior to reaching the Central market. "Much of the transaction depends on the bargaining power that one has" says Fatuma. By improving telecommunication technology, the First Mile Project assists traders and vendor such as Fatuma Juma in gaining valuable market information, enabling the startegic pricing of goods based on market conditions. |
