The institute, through the roof water harvesting project, supported by IFAD, has been able to harvest sufficient water, through the use of water gutters and reservoir tanks to start a small-scale farmland that supplements the student’s dietary. Benson says that, the constant supply of water has given students opportunities to work in the school throughout the year, where they earn extra income that goes towards supporting their education. |
