Glasgow, 8 November 2021 – At the IFAD pavilion at COP26, the event: Indigenous People - strategic partners for financiers of climate adaptation. Despite being the least responsible for climate change, Indigenous People are among the most affected because of their close inter-connection with nature. Based on their traditional knowledge they have been practicing various ecosystem-based adaptations. At this event Indigenous People shared their perspectives on how to pursue pathways for adaptation to climate change and effectively engage with development partners.
