This financial institution has benefited, along with 66 others, from the digitalization project, a process that, according to its members, is resulting in a more efficient and transparent service.The “Sendero de Luz” rural savings bank, located in El Playón, Ajuterique, was one of 66 financial institutions benefitting from the digitalization campaign carried out through the RPSF. Members of the rural savings bank, during a meeting, share that through this campaign the service has become more efficient and transparent. The RPSF is a short-term strategy that feeds into IFAD’s longer-term development objectives. It aims to improve the food security and resilience of poor rural people by supporting production, market access and employment and to accelerate their recovery from the COVID-19 crisis. |
