The "Sendero de Luz" was one of 66 financial institutions benefitting from the digitalization campaign carried out through the RPSF. Jose claims that, as a result, the "development of production has been very significant, and that all transactions are made with greater agility". The RPSF is a short-term strategy that feeds into IFAD’s longer-term development objectives. It aims to improve the food security and resilience of poor rural people by supporting production, market access and employment and to accelerate their recovery from the COVID-19 crisis. |
