Description: |
Ranjini Devi lives with her husband and son, her mother, father, and three siblings. The primary source of income for the family is through the sale of dairy products made from the cattle’s milk and the production of compost. However, they also grow herbs and spices, coconut and jackfruit. The Smallholder Agribusiness Partnerships Programme (SAPP) aims to raise incomes and improve the quality of diet of over 57,000 smallholder households in Sri Lanka. The program provides a platform for smallholder farmers to access financing and business training, while also helping them to form partnerships with each other and the private sector. |
