She was accompanied by: His Excellency Morten Aasland, Ambassador, Norwegian Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Rome; Mr Aslak Brun, Director-General, Department for Sustainable Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ms Bjørg Skotnes, Deputy Permanent Representative, Norwegian Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Rome; Mr Syver Glordencio Mendoza Zachariassen, Political Advisor, and Mr Sondre Bjotveit, Director, Secretariat of the Minister of International Development. Norway is a global leader on recovery, rebuilding, resilience and IFAD strongly values the Minister’s role as global champion for long term investments in local production and small scale producers, and its inclusion as part of the global crisis response. |
