One of the main objectives of the program is to increase the size of the family herd. The two phases were distributed to thirty-six goats detailed six homes, three goats and one male goat at the village chief. The COVID-19 Rural Poor Stimulus Facility (RPSF), which is financed by IFAD and other development partners support came to relieve the scars and traces that the covid 19 pandemic left on the intervention aera. These goats are production goats not for sale, the project will monitor the evaluation of the goats, a veterinary agent is available and travels for the vaccination and vitamin periods. Vulnerable farmers , women , youth, poor households, pastoralists and agro-pastoralists are the targets of the PROGRES program. PROGRES aims at empowering the rural poor in their sustainable access to natural resources and community facilities. |
