Rome, 27 July 2023 – In support of the IFAD13 replenishment, the West and Central Africa Regional division (WCA) organised the roundtable, “Fostering Africa-IFAD partnership in the West and Central Africa Region. The event was attended by Ministers and senior government officials in charge of finance, rural development and agriculture, as well as Permanent Representatives to Rome-based agencies (RBAs), from all WCA countries. The event represented a unique opportunity to engage directly with country representatives, taking stock of WCA performance across previous replenishment cycles and discussing ownership and national priorities in line with IFAD13. The Roundtable also served as a dynamic and active platform through which regional Member States shared their expectations and country commitments under IFAD13. |
