| Description: | IFAD President, Alvaro Lario, visited Capribov, one of the biggest cooperatives of goat milk in the Brazilian state of Paraíba. Thanks to the equipment and technical assistance offered by the IFAD-supported Procase and Dom Helder Câmara II projects, the cooperative has now the capacity to process five thousand liters of goat milk, benefiting 420 family farmers in the region of Cabaceiras. Lario recognizes the efforts of the producers organization and the importance of rural institutions (cooperatives and associations) to organize the production, add value and access new markets. |
