Hoda Muhammad Issa Balasih mixing date jam and tahini (sesame paste) together at the restaurant Beit Al-Asilat. The restaurant is managed by Nour Omar Muhammad Banat and Hoda Muhammad Issa Balasih. It uses food grown in its garden and Nour's farms and is a source of employment as well. Nour is a jordanian beneficiary from IFAD's Rural Economic Growth and Employment Project (REGEP), she received an innovation grant of 9718€ from the project about a year ago and used it to create a new farm, powered by solar panels and using drip irrigation, currently one of the most efficient water and nutrient delivery system for growing crops.
