Working on organic fertilizer together with members of the Awak Saragi farming group takes place in the warehouse of Boiman's residence which is located at the top of a hill in Lolang Village. The effectiveness of this organic fertilizer has not only been proven in the rice fields and cocoa gardens belonging to members of the Awak Saragi farming group that Boiman leads. The Luwu Regency Agricultural Service has acknowledged the superiority of the organic fertilizer that Boiman makes based on experience and training results from the ReadSi program. "Rice with organic fertilizer is fuller. The rice also doesn't go stale quickly. The selling price for organic fertilizer rice at the farmer level is around IDR 20 thousand/kg, while chemical fertilizer rice is IDR 10 thousand/kg," said the grandfather of seven grandchildren. |
