With this type of project, promoted by Pro-Camélidos through IFAD financing, residents of places like Chojñacota in the municipality of San Pedro de Totora in Oruro, Bolivia, can have access to drinking water and also use part of this liquid to benefit their camelid livestock. "For kilometers I had to bring water in my car. So, I was totally disappointed with this land. So, I almost decided to go to the city," Soto says.
